New Software Improves Dental Laboratory Communication

Montclair, CA July 2003 – Precision Ceramics has unveiled an entirely new and innovative software package that has made a significant improvement in communication between the dental office, outsourcing laboratory and dental laboratory.

The Precision Ceramics “Schedulers Companion” allows the dental office or outsourcing laboratory to request a case back by a certain date. Upon receipt and scheduling in the laboratory, an order confirmation is sent back to the prescribe via e-mail or fax with specific delivery information.

Upon completion and shipment, another confirmation is sent with a tracking numbe and dynamic link to the carrier’s website. This software makes a considerable improvement in communication, patient and case scheduling, and overall efficiency.
