  Mark co-founded the laboratory in 1981. A member of the ICOI and Cal-Lab, he serves on the Board of directors of the National Association of Dental Laboratories, writes a monthly column for the Journal of Dental Technology and has been on the faculty of NADLU since 2004. He has lectured throughout the US, as well as in Europe and Africa. Mark is active in the community, and in humanitarian and conservation affairs as a board member of Safari Club International. He lives in Rancho Cucamonga with his wife and children.

iConfident brings it all together

Perhaps the most frustrating part of working with implants in an interdisciplinary environment is the communication problems that occur when everything you hear is second hand information….

Online implant planning, guides and restorations are getting easier to manage every day. iConfident has a very intelligent solution with its online Implant Management System (IMS).  You can upload images, search for and manage components and communicate with others in the implant process. Specialists, lab personnel and general dentists can use it to collaborate on their cases.

Ever get frustrated because you didn’t receive a surgeons report or any implant ID with a case? Ever wonder what height healing cap was used at each site? This is where IMS comes in. I have been using iConfident for some time now. Not just with implant cases but anytime I’d like to share information with more than one team member. My local component of the Seattle Study Club even uses it for case collaboration among members.
