Unfortunately, the art of full-contour waxing has been largely replaced by the need for ceramic substructures as metal-ceramic systems became the restorative material of choice.

Today however, the art is experiencing a popular resurgence with the increased demand for pressed ceramic and CAD/CAM copy milled restorations. If we mill your wax pattern on our Roland JXW10 wax mill, we utilize the complete library of Digitalized Occlusal Anatomy, and Statistically Generated Occlusal Averages, or we use the trusted and proven hand carved method. Often we use a combination of both.
