With more than 15 years of documented clinical success, and a long list of accolades from such highly respected clinicians as Dr Ed McLaren, Dr John Sorensen and Dr Gordon Christensen, Vita In-Ceram is still an important part of any laboratorys' armamentarium.
Vita In-Ceram is hand slipped onto a refractory die and sintered, and infiltrated in up to 16 different core shades. Available in three formulas, strength varies by translucency, ranging from, weakest to strongest:
In-Ceram Spinell. Highly translucent, and ideal for cases with minimal reduction and where tooth discoloration is not an issue. Ideal for single crowns and veneers.
In-Ceram Alumina. Medium strength, and similar in appearance to Procera. Best suited for single anterior crowns, and bridges up to four units.
In-Ceram Zirconia. The strongest of the trio, indications include single posterior crowns, short span posterior bridges and implant restorations.
For best results, we recommend In-Ceram substructures be veneered with Vita VM7 layering porcelain however a wide variety of approved materials are available. A list is provided with every case.
